This post is officially 236 posts too late. My apologizes, as I’m sure most of you have been waiting with bated breath to learn more about me. First, my name is James….it’s nice to finally meet you! I live in Las Vegas, I own a very little dog (who you will meet in future posts), I love long walks on the beach, and I drink more 2% milk than anyone. I am colorblind, I love the way British people use the word “cheers”, and I would eat breakfast for every meal if given the choice. My birthday was a few weeks ago…thanks for the gift! I also drew a self portrait for those of you wondering what I look like (so I guess I should add “graphics guru” to my list of things that define me)

I created Greatest Playlist because I wanted to centralize some of my music. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, and thought it would be cool to have an easy place to go to listen and share with friends. This site has been up and running since March 21, 2011…and has officially become my favorite side-project to date. Hopefully you are enjoying the site as well…as that is the whole goal!

I plan on throwing some blog-esque posts up at very random intervals. This is the first one of those. I want to blog about how music and entertainment interact with my life, and also start a conversation with you, to hopefully learn more about how your life and entertainment work. The whole process fascinates me, and I am a slave to learning. And because I don’t want to reveal EVERYTHING about me in one post…here is a song I have been listening to a sick amount.
