I was recently asked to review the new Morrow’s Memory album “Moving Forward”. I’m happy that people keep asking me to review rock music as it forces me to listen to a genre of music that I don’t usually check out enough. Morrow’s Memory is a 6 man band that makes some really awesome music. I usually need a second or third listen before I can get into a rock song, but these guys had my attention early. Their instrumentation and song structure are really captivating…plus the lyrics and mix are really clean as well. Overall, I can happily recommend checking this playlist of the best Morrow’s Memory songs out.
My favorite track on this album is surely the title track “Moving Forward”. It feels a little more “pop”-ish than some of the other songs…but that isn’t always a bad thing imo. The long bridge really makes the song stand out (although the monstrous guitar riffs can certainly be found on other tracks) and the vocal flow is really engaging as well. The next best track has to be “Abandoned” which I have been listening to a ton over the last few days. The track is just a rocker and keeps you moving the whole time. I will say this though…it was hard to pick favorite tracks with so many solid ones to choose from. And with that said, get listening and make sure to turn your speakers up and enjoy this 10 song preview!

Bought extra copies of the CD after the first listen. It stays in my cars CD player always.
