I was asked to do this album review, and I will say that I was very interested from the beginning. Earsauce is a 2-man outfit that makes, and I quote, “folktronica” music. Just the thought of mixing folk and electronica music confused me, and thus piqued my interest. I won’t lie, I was and still am incredibly impressed. The sound is just so unique and powerful, mixing pretty much every instrument they could find in a 20 mile radius. Most of the songs are instrumental with the ocassional vocal riff or mixed sample for good measure. If you are into really interesting downtempo music that is uniquely structured, you will love everything about this playlist and album.
The other awesome thing to note is that this band does everything out of a basement studio and that both artists are multi-instrumentalists. Overall, this act is something epic and something that everyone should give a try. And best of all is that this album is available for free! Either click here or the download link under the songs.
